DTC’s BIGSHOT Trailer XL is a heavy-duty, trailer-mounted material application system engineered for reliable field performance and operator efficiency. Built with all-welded steel construction and a high-capacity material tank, it combines a compact, maneuverable layout with robust heating, agitation, and hydraulic systems to support consistent material flow and temperature control. Designed with operator safety and ease of use in mind, the BIGSHOT Trailer XL features dual operator positions, digital controls, and configurable power and fuel options, making it a versatile solution for demanding pavement maintenance applications.

Construction

• Heavy wall, rectangular steel tube frame.
• Durable diamond plate decking on all walking surfaces.

Weight & Dimensions

• 14,000-pound GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating).
• Trailer measures 102” wide and an overall trailer length of 22’ long.
• Wheels & Brakes
• 16” ST-rated trailer tires with heavy-duty 9/16” lug on 8 x 6.5 wheels.
• Equipped with dual 7,000-pound, torsion axles for a smooth and comfortable ride.

Operator Seats

• Tandem operator seats on passenger and driver sides.
• Adjustable backrest and armrests.
• Comfortable safety seatbelt and rubber bumpers.
• Foot pedal for hands-free dispensing.
• Fully adjustable, articulated, and removable gun and gun arm for functionality, flexibility, and tough-to-reach areas. Good range of motion: gun extends up to 30-inches out and away from operator.

Hitch

• Adjustable C-channel hitch mount which allows for quick and easy height changes.
• Your choice of a pintle hitch or 2 & 5/16” ball hitch.

Options

• Compressor with quick disconnects (stubbed out at the #1 operator position on both sides)
• Title 13 beacons and/or work lights
• Slide out beacons (located at the front of both operator positions)
